Its CORL The Coalition of Reef Lovers a USA 501-c-3 non-profit organization
CORAL is the Coral Reef Alliance another 501-c-3 non-profit org
While our goals are the same we each use different methods to reach them.
CORL takes a low tech low cost community based approch while CORAL's are a bit more costly and technical.
CORL uses sales to the marine ornamental industry to help subsidize coral restoration cost and to create village based industries. CORL also creates long term assistance in the creation of its Coastal Resource Centers for the Island communities it serves.
Dr. Thomas J. Goreau is President of CORAL

And Yes CORL is looking at moving its Main USA office to Athens GA in the near future.

I am interested in how they plan to circumvent the No inspections by fish and wildlife on Sundays? Sunday is the main flight day for almost every route out of the Pacific. There are only two inspectors in Atl . No Sunday inspections is a big deal to me ..........I wonder if they CORL realized this? Mike?
I meant get around the Sunday issue, not US Fish and Wildlife entirely . {inspector Vic would hunt you down } :wink: I was hoping you had found some way of getting F& W to conduct Sunday inspections............ The added costs associated with having to land livestock in LAX on Sunday and have it reOxed or book mid week flights to ATL will sap the profit out of sales .....not to mention getting bumped coming across the Atlantic and having the corals set in Icy Europe an extra day ..........There is a reason 90% of livestock lands in California.........I was hoping CORL had somehow changed this ?

I just assumed you kinda believed in CORLs mission and goals and would be more familiar w/ the organization.
I can accept that you are different and have your own views apart from the group....but I only listened to you BECAUSE you were associated with CORL.

i'll bet it's a real short list , and the list of people even shorter :lol:
