'Personal Attacks and Civility'

I would just like to say that I have been thoroughly entertained by reading what I've seen in this board so far. 'Plunder Limits in Tonga' was fun.
I say, so what if some people have personal attacks and no civility?
If I don't like what I'm reading, I don't have to read it.
I would allow the members to work out their own issues without imposing rules on them if I ran the board. This is the only post in this thread I'm 'qualified' to make anyway!

Unfortunately in this day and age, people who misconstrue arguements as slanderous can bring about civil penalties (read - lawsuits).

We do what we can to keep conversation civil in order to reduce offense and make a difference in the hobby and to keep our site up and operational for the benefit of anyone willing to learn.

Wackos who want to degrade themselves are not our concern... the average, everday hobbyist is.

Debates are healthy for all... slander is not. Its a simple fact of adult life (amusing as it might be).
