I want to learn how to import and wholesale as well as retail.

Not because I want to do both but because I fell unless I relocated to the west coast in LA there is no way my business would survive as just a online retailer/ propagator.

I admit I want to import and sell wild livestock as well as collect broodstock for captive proagation this way

I see that my presence would not be much less respectable than others doin this

I quess I cant see anything wrong with others doin it..if I really want to fit in with the rest of the industry

this is the industry I want to be in no matter what

Unless someone can explain to me how a online retailer/propagator could survive(long term) without actualy doing this, on the east coast with it being their only income source ...I really would like to only carry one business name

yes I am trying to put together a true business plan using business planning software and all

Rual nc 6 hrs from atlanta less from boltimore i think

these are a few obsticles i face

4 hrs from charllote..best tranship spot

45min from rdu

that would be a huge obstacle. you really need to be by a large hub for shipping purposes.

ya ...have considered relocating near miami because of this

but still could bring in alot thru the #1 transhiper in LA even to RDU

they bring in everything almost and been in business since 1991

even then miami doesnt offer alot of the direct flights from asia like koran air, or air china.

altlanta or botimore were my next choice...that I would transport from to nc ..I would do larger once monthly shipments
after really contacting islanders and veiwing price lists ....my best option is seasonal transhipments from la or other potintal contacts and wholesalers that I get to know on a personal level

How bout boltimore

I do not mind the 6 hr or so obstical though it will slow progress
45 min away Transhipments almost cost the same anyway as importing I think...I could still then deal wholesale with local shops within a 100 mile radius being the targeted wholesale market with addition exposer thru the internet

boltimore is much closer to me than atlanta after checking more it is about 290 miles straight down I 95 ...could get there much faster

but I think buying tickets a month in advance and flying out to lax on a monthly $2500 or so budjet to cherry pick..combined with transhipments as needed will be the starting strategy of my livestock accumulation for resale and broodstock

since I need to learn so much more to import anyway...I mainly wanted to wholesale freshwater/salwater fish(semi local) and retail coral livestock online specializing in coral propagation as well..

I need the online retail site for exposer to compete with my specialty side...I think...I wish it didnt take all that work but rual america is tuff

but I can erect as many greenhouses as I please
