Garry:

I know most of the wholesalers throughout the US and I can't think of any in your neck of the woods.

Most wholesalers are centralized on the West coast and South East coast with a few small ones mixed in between along with some places in NY/NJ that are pretty scary places but that's a topic for a different discussion.

BTW, greets to everyone in NH.. I grew up in Manchester/Goffstown with family still out there. Lots of good people and stores out there.

I don't know if Rhode Island is close enough for ya, but there's a small wholesaler Water World - Cindy who imports stuff for the local stores up there. See if you can track her down.

Good luck,

Eric

Avoid them at all costs. I speak from experience, unfortunately.

Thanks to all. Bit strange why there are no wholesalers in the area tho. There is a growing available market crying out for it. This is WHY i want to fill the gap beyond what is currently available with the now CHAIN stores (co ) So uninviting and only catering for a complete novice and long term misinformed 8O.

8 seperate systemised tanks, 1x 4x4x1 invert tank and a large pond liner for live rock and sand. Plus dry goods, but in a package which is not being done by any of my competiters. Good advice with Help! if needed for the complete beginner. Not just do this/ do that good bye! And as mentioned this will be situated in the concord area NH.

The only RI wholesaler I've heard of is house based, and has a pretty poor rep, and also sells to hobbyists. IE, not really a wholesaler. There are a couple in CT that are larger and probably go to NH, but they are really poor as well. Find someone good in CA, or you'll have a really tough time getting off the ground.. local wholesalers quality is bad and price is high... not a good combo.

Buyer Beware on the CA wholesalers too.. there is good, bad, and really ugly.
