7.8 earthquake 95 miles of Tonga. Hope everybody that is over there and posts here is fine. Let us know.

Was a good shake here in American Samoa about 1000 miles to the north of Tonga it lasted 30sec to 45sec possibly longer, as I was asleep at the time it started. Aftershocks have to be good too as we are feeling them here also.
No Wave, but at 5am this morning after the main earthquake I did head for high ground and spent the sunrise watching the ocean from the mountain overlooking the village.

No damage here that I know of.

Hope everyone is OK in Tonga also....

Glad you are ok Mike.

I heard from some in Tonga, and they say everyone and everything is fine. We'll see if more reports come in.
