There is a term "island electrician" in the Caribbean. This is a guy that skinny's up a electric pole when the power is off. (as it is at least 8 hr. per day) scrapes the (hot) wires and taps in. I used to own this place but gave it to my manager to sell me fish. He has done some rewiring to say the least. Add in a little saltwater and you have all the makings of an execution by electric chair.
