To sell Mangrove.

For starters, Happy Holidays!


For some time now I have done some research on the possibility of "distributing" Mangrove plants to those in the aquarium industry.

Sure, nothing new or *WOW* but something I'm interested in. I basically have all my needed information except one very important one that I could only get from others on the industry.

That is, what is the competitive wholesale price for the mangrove ( Red Mangrove).

I have seen them retail from $9.00 - $15.00 so I'm interested in what is the wholesale price range.

If you have purchased them before, I would like to get some price info and if possible the source (I might also offer them to the wholesalers). I will offer the Red Mangrove with roots and leaves.

All comments are welcomed in this thread, but if you are going to give me price info, I would suggest they be sent via private message.

You can get em on Ebay for $1 a pod, just a FYI.

Your country/state would be useful to know. Prices change regionally.

Selling Mangrove plants, Check with your State agency. If in Florida, please check to determine whether harvesting mangrove plants is legal.

Thanks for the info. Iam yet to get the answer I would like but all info is good. I will have thousands available. They will not be harvested in florida.... not in the usa for that matter.

Maybe bottom line is, any reasonable price is good, just got to find the right customers willing to purchase @ my price.

If they aren't coming from the US, you should have some interesting conversations with customs.

Better yet, US Ag or US F & W S. They supercede Customs on live stuff.
