I am hoping someone can point me in the direction of the most current science and techniques regarding the collection of aquarium fish prior to them settling out of the plankton?

Any information greatly appreciated.

what sort of effort have you made so far to research the subject? Give us an idea of where you are in your search and where you've already looked.

Something along the lines of:
"I'm interested in researching more information on <subject>. I have found a couple sources of information <here>, <here> and <here>, but have not found anything detailing <subject>. "

If you explain the existing search process, people are less likely to assume you're just pushing easily-researched questions without first making some effort.

The rest is going to be entirely local knowledge as to when the fish breed and where, plus how the current flows. Pretty simple, really.
