Do wholesalers use UV sterilizers in their holding systems?

I'm mainly curious if it's used in coral and clam holding systems.

We used to use UV on both fish and invert systems....but when we expanded into a larger facility, UV was not economical. Ozone became our best method to sterilze the water. Mainly due to electrical costs to run UV vs. Ozone.

Now UV is only used on packing water and small hospital systems.

Do you use copper & bi-nitro in all the fish holding tank as well as precaution?

Yes....we have always used copper in our fish systems.
We normally keep our systems at a copper level of .10ppm using SeaChem's cupermine 2.
