When I was told about it I was not told to keep it a secret but before I say who I need to ask first. The owner sold the property so it's for sure they will be gone and no interest was expressed to me about moving. I wanted to see it in person when I came to Macna next year but I guess that will not happen.

I don't know if it was or wasn't but I have seen mention in the places that are permitting discussion of it, that some forums have removed any threads discussing it. It's a sensitive matter, for certain, and there seem to be some pretty polarized opinions about it.
IMO the topic has been beaten right to death where it was discussed - and in some places the thread deviated right off topic and onto other "local politics".

You're right about it being beaten to death. And I do realize that we're in the industry forum here. But when I heard about the whole thing, you came to mind again because of everything that went down in 2003 in the ARC.JennM":26oaagm4 said:

All are welcome to post here, Thiago. You don't have to be a member of the industry to post in this forum - goodness knows there are a few *cough* non-industry types here that are always yanking our chains 
We give a hard time to certain folks who know nothing about the hobby or industry but who choose to tell us how to do business - but that's a whole different animal right there!
The forum was meant for all to see, and insight and discussion in the trade by those within as well as without, is encouraged. So by all means you're welcome to keep posting here. I'm not a moderator and I don't play one on TV but as long as I've been in this forum we've seen good input from hobbyist and tradespeople alike, and all have been welcome as long as they're here to make constructive discussion. It can be critical - as long as it is done with decorum.
As to the other matter that you are alluding to - I've kept quiet about it. I have had no personal or business or club contact with the individual concerned since SWU 2005, and prior to that we had shaken hands and let bygones be bygones concerning the other matters that you brought up. I carry no grudge insofar as *those* issues are concerned. I didn't do business with him as I didn't like his product - tried it 5 years ago, bought one for use in the shop, didn't like it, sold it. That had nothing to do with personal issues - that was just a business decision.
As to the other issue - that's a whole other can of worms. I've kept my thoughts to myself on that one, and it's probably best that I remain so.

Life's too short for junk like that. It was over when it was over as far as I'm concerned. I don't really think about it at all anymore but people are always reminding me of it Seems that most have longer memories of such things than I care to. It was, after all, 4 years ago. As I said, amends were made among *all* concerned, not just the individual you are talking about now.
