Bleaching was heavy here in the Pacific this year some corals in our reef lagoons are still 50-70% Bleached.
Weird things happing too... the young Rabbit fish (lo) usually arrive in huge numbers in November or December after the Pololo worm spawns, but this year they arrived in Mid April for the 1st time ever.
April and May is normal for them in Northern Pacific not South Pac.
