In light of the recent legislation in Hawaii, IMO industry should voluntarily agree to CDT or request legislation coverning CDT to weed out the industry losers who knowingly deal with cyanide caught fish.

Under the Lacey Act prosecutions of offenders is possible and there are those in Wildlife who are anxious to tackle offenders now.

What are your views?

Thank you

Is there a test that addresses the clean out period? Is there a test that can be legally applied in the US? Hasn't all this been discussed IN DEPTH a bunch of times on this forum, even with you posting in the very threads I speak of? Have you learned anything while you've been here?

A Cyanide Detection Workshop sponsored by NOAA/NMFS was held in Orlando Feb 6-8, 2008. Reports addressing these issues are under preparation.
