I am looking for a Marine fish exporter in San Francisco.

Can someone please PM if you can recommend any good exporters?

Aquatic Specialties and Pets in Hayward is the one with current exporting experience.
They only do legal stuff though, complete with USFWS inspections.

Customers often hold it against you for not having the cool, illegal stuff.
I remember when the sea turtles were smuggled in up here and the legal guys were all upset ...
" How come they get to do it and not us...its not fair!"

Then there was the leopard shark fiasco.
The smugglers got the market all to themselves. They enjoyed the exclusive for years until the lethargic powers that be finally caught up to it all and then selectively prosecuted the small fry.

Exporting fishes without notifying USFWS is illegal and yet there is an airline that frequently doesn't check! Imagine if that became commonplace....all the rarest , endemic wood and spotted turtles could be shipped out to Asia without permits being checked!

"Legal" means boring to some...and at least 50 readers know exactly what I mean.
