How about buying it Wayne. You can step up Banggai cardinal production and save the wild ones.

Dear C-Quest Customer (Past and/or Present) ~

I am writing this letter because we are without a salesperson. Jonathan has done a great job but has moved back to Canada to further his education and we wish him the best of luck!

I am currently looking for a new salesperson (anyone interested?) but in the meantime, I will be taking over Jon's email list and fax list. I don't know the names of the companies he has provided me with by the email (unless it's obvious) so please bear with me. I would like to contact each of you by telephone to introduce myself if you don't already know me.

There have been rumors about C-Quest closing it's operation but we have no definite plans at this time. We are offering the company for sale (complete with 52 + acres) so if any of you are even remotely interested, please call me!

Our web page needs updated and I hope to get that done in the near future....with more pictures of the fish, farm, price lists, etc.

It's been a long slow summer for us and I know for many of you also. I welcome any comments or suggestions any of you may have about C-Quest and our marine ornamentals....please feel free to call me anytime.

I look forward to talking to you soon.

Sincerely,

Katy Addison

787 area code..? Isn't that Puerto Rico? MAN! If only those people had accepted our offer on their home! We would have a place in Guanica right now (although, just pick a place on the island, and I've got family there  ). And here I am, been looking for work in these damned mountains for almost a year now.

Dizzy,

Thanks for the post. I wish the folks from C-Quest the best. I hope they get a qualified buyer and move forward with their life in happiness.

The other part of your post really made me laugh and I greatly appreciate it. As you well know from life experience, some of us devote everything we have to this industry and really don't talk about it much, as we are far too busy packing fish.

Others, talk and do NOTHING.

Just for those interested, yesterday my fish club was allowed to visit C-Quest's facilities and allowed to take pictures of their facilities while there (we were given permission to share them) here is a link to the thread and the pictures. Only thing I ask is not repost the pics ;) . The thread is in Spanish. I couldn't make the trip this time but had visited earlier this year, exciting to say the least :D .

I think ORA has already been sold. I heard it was purchased by some of the old Maritech people. (ProAquatics) Has anyone else heard this?

.... I really wonder if the on-shore breeding is really poorly threatened by off-shore aquaculture players .... so everybody is selling off like no tomorrow.

News to me and I routinely talk to both of them.
