Effects of PETA's Involvement

If you do not have a minute to read the above, please let me summarize.
PETA with the help of movie stars was successful in pressuring KFC to change the way chickens are handled.

I would like you to take 10 seconds and think about the way this industry operates, and the effect of PETA's, with the help of famous stars, involvment will have on your business and livlihood.

I think you will agree that most companies now are sensitive to public outcry especially when it is led by a well funded and organized group like PETA with movies stars adding credibilty to their concerns. That was the case with KFC.

If you are suggesting that I am involved in PETA in any way, that is not correct.
I am merely pointing out to our industry that by sitting back and doing nothing a group like PETA or Greenpeace might decide to focus on the marine industry with all it warts.

Why did it take KFC in Canada 5 yrs. to catch up to US's KFC? How could this be? I thought Canada's vanguardism in the animal rights movement is second to none..... according to you :roll:

The Canadian Press story states that the US-side issues have yet to be fianlized with PETA which would indicate we are on the vanguard on this issue.
