Okay so I have decided i want to go with the AI sol but i and just wondering what people on MR have on their tanks do you have the Ai sol white or blue and how manny do you have on what size tank?...... If you could post a photo to i would like to see your tank or send me a pm. I just wanna see what people have here on MR.......

Anyone who has these lights can you tell me if there is a way to adjust the feet of the mounting rails to 20 inches without actually cutting the rails?

not really that i know of, some people use wiring kits to float it and others use custom made brackets like i did.

I need to put it on top of the tank with the legs. They make 24 and 12 inch rails. No 20 inch options are available.

I think a hacksaw is in your future..

I cut mine with a metal blade in a chop saw and then cleaned up the edges with a dremel and then tapped the holes for the bracket. Took 10 minutes for each rail.

Do you have to attach the feet or are they already attached when you get them?

I just got 2 sol blues in black for my 65 gallon reef tank. They are mounted 9 inches from water surface and I am getting good coverage so far. Now I am just playing with light intensity.
