Is it my imagination or are there a lot of fish stores opening or getting bigger? Aquarium village, btjs jungle moving to a bigger pad,aquariums in bay shore,reef shack in selden moving to bigger place, and last but not least petco selling corals now. Is there that much money in it? Even in this economy? I guess that just means more selection for us. Competition is healthy no?

Which petco's have saltwater Fish and corals ?

Every store can sell coral but is it healthy is the question. I have heard horror stories of bt jungle and pet co scares me lol The people that work in these places do not have the knowledge to be doing what they are doing. I actually went to a petco here in glen cove when I needed salt for a water change and they didn't even sell it!

The petco out here sells marine dry goods also, and the girl that was helping me even knew the taxonomy of the corals I asked about and corrected me on a couple.

I do not think there is money in it but since everything else going downhill for may pet stores, they may be take a wild shot at new stuff.

True, many new ones opens but more of less same amount of old ones closed.
