Family Fun Day is ON!!

Hi Everyone,

The club will be hosting Family Fun day on Saturday Sept. 27th with a few changes.

• The collecting trip will follow Family Fun Day, we will head to Shinecock inlet around 3:15.
• Lunch will not be offered this year.
• The event is now free to all members, membership must be current.
• Non-members will still get a reduced admission of $10 per person.
• Birds and Butterflies exhibit will be included.

Even though this is now a free event we are still asking people to RSVP by Sept 22nd with the following information.

• Member name
• How many guests
• If you are planning to attend FFD, the collecting trip or both.

Family fun day is a visit to the Long Island Aquarium where members and their family get to spend the day sharing the hobby, we also give folks behind the scenes tour of the reef tank, coral propagation systems and the aquariums livestock sustainability.

The collecting trip is at Shinicock inlet where we collect tropical strays, most years we pick up spot fin butterflies, pipe fish, sea horses, puffers and lots of glass shrimp.

We do the behind the scenes tours through out the day so shouldn't be an issue getting home in the afternoon.
