Are these purple stands Eggs?

They look like eggs attached to strands of mucus.

That looks like it. Did anything ever happen with the eggs or did they just disappear ?

Hi, yes that is a spawning event. Good for you! Its funny because someone actually sited my video above from about a year ago. I am new to this forum today so it is ironic that the first thread that I clicked on had something that I posted somewhere else!

Just so that you know, the spawning event did not cause as GSP overrun in my tank, in fact, I didn't see any additional GSP anywhere post spawning.

Thanks. That video confirmed it for me. One never knows to be excited or panic when you see something different in the tank.

Question?? Do the smaller gsm never leave "the nest" is (he) always picking at the EgGs? And the bigger gsm always attacking anything that moves close to "the nest" if you are witnessing these behaviors then yes 95% those are eggs if not then its just something else
