i was pondering if i should keep them or not. my wife was surprised to see how many had actually died from Sandy - my acans, many zoas & euphyllia. :screama: of course, the real question was: how much had i spent on them?. my answer: $1 frags & trades. :eek1:

Why not? The plugs and rocks are reusable to glue your own frags on to and they are also rubble for sump. No reason to throw it away.

A natural reef is built from dead coral skeletons. Keep them and use them as decorative accents around your rock work. The plugs can be re-used.

Don't think about it as depressing, consider the fact that they'll make a stronger reef, and that this happens, even in the ocean.

frags

I had frags of acans that I believed to be died with no visible tissue on them to start to slowly regrow months later.(but I always kept them in water with light)
