With extreme thanks to Lawdawg I just recently switched over to a 72 from a 12 cube and while things were looking ok for a few days now my softies are looking like they're taking a turn for the worse.

I've got a medium kenya tree that used to stand up straight and tall with wide sweeping polyp extention, a few others that closely resemble the kenya and a couple varieties of green stars that are all looking very droopy and sad with very low extension. The one that is almost definitely a kenya that used to stand up straight and firm looks like its in DIRE need of some viagra.. - I mean, I'm about to give it a name its so bad.. I was thinking: "90 year-old John Holmes"

Wierd as that is, all the LPS's are looking just fine.. Feeder polyps out at appropriate times, blah blah blah, everything BUT the softies are looking great..

:?

Could it be temp?? - Are softies more sensitive to higher water temps than LPS's?? - Thats the only thing that I've noticed it *might* be so far... - The water *feels* a tad too warm and I'm not sure I trust my thermometers..

No one has any ideas eh?

Temp looks ok.. - I did drop it back from about 78 down to 74 though.

Something I hadn't noticed before but I did lose a small ricordia - another in the tank is looking just fine though.. - Do they release anything when they go??
