Ive had a few customers from Hawaii ask me if they are allowed to order corals. I know a few people who have shipped there without any problems, but I have never shipped anything there. Is it illegal to sell cultivated corals from the mainland to Hawaii?

cal seems a little high. what is your alk level? if u have nudi's the freshwater dip isnt enough. u need to add some lugols iodine to the dip. before u do that move them away from the lights. that normally makes them open if there is nothing wrong with them.

make sure u tighten the bulkhead and remove and retape the drain plug. i had a problem with both of mine leaking at the bulkhead when they are full. 300 gal is alot of pressure on the bulkhaed.

i got mine at tractor supply co. the 300's take up alot of space (roughly 5'x5'). u sure u have enough room.

i recently upgraded my return pump and the external overflow box i have cant keep up with the increased flow. would adding another drain tube to the overflow box increase the gph it can handle? if this is possible the other problem is that the origional hole for the return line is located...

thanks for the info. the dot on the back of the fish had me stumped. he is only about an inch long now and has not been picking at my corals yet, so he will stay in the reef tank until he outgrows it or starts to eat my corals. ill make sure to leave leave him some room in my FO tank. thanks
