You could benefit a lot from bying a book from Joyce Wilkerson- Clownfishes, good chapters on phyto and zooplankton cultivation.

Aquabee are German made also high quality pumps. If you can get both Eheim or Aquabee you will see there is no diference in craftams work neither in application practice. Regrading to a skimer, BK is realy more expensive but it use only one pump that suck an 1000l/h air and waste only 40 wats...

Hmmm... picture is not clear but it look like some kind of "buble algae", Valonia spices. If it is , no big problem , only if they do not spreed fast. Check water for silicates, good qualyti test should measure no silicates .

Hi, I finaly complet standpipies and they work just excelent, but return in a first chamber of a sump is something diferent. It is to noise, to much bubling and waves. I need some help here to. Regards

Dont do that any more , maybe for a while soda will bring down pH but that is bufer , for a while will speed up your pH. That is main reason why you have such a high value. Decrease lighting, feed your fishes a litle more than usualy and maybe for a short time you will have readings of 8.2-8.5
