Wow. I havent touched the sandbed in about 3 months, and i decided to do some maintinence today..my water is soooo dirty now..hehe, newaz to teh point. Is stirring up all the sand OK to do, and im removing some seaweed, should i do it in stages, or all at once? i dont want to shock the system...

ps..i want to do this asap because im starting school in about 3 weeks, and after i start i have no extra $!

reef is 1 year old in may, tangs have all been together for 7+ months, 'cept for the sailfin hes about a month old btw i like your analogy for the tangs =P

hes staying specifically to one side of the tank, near the sand about 2 inches up. my dad thinks hes fine, but i dunno, if anyone has advice please feel free, i get freaked out about little things like that so sorry about the post i guess =\

ok now hes being very aggressive towards the other tangs in the tank, purple (sorry i dont know the real name) , and the naso tang, is this some sort of agressive swimming behavior that he does to (pick a fight)?

ok. we changed the carbon/phosphate filter today on my dads 125g. we had a cyano outbreak in his refug so we figured eliminate a possible food source for cyano (phosphates). oh, he also did a 25g water change.. anyways about 15 minutes later his sailfin tang started swimming around in weird ways...

im a student and work. thankfully i still live with my dad, but this is soon to change. yes "10 lbs of LR" is all i have, i havent had the money to afford any more as of yet. next payday however im looking at another 15 lbs..i would like to have 50 lbs of LR by the time im done purchasing..
