The last few weeks have started to show abut if progress besides just ordering stuff. 100# of rock are in. The plumbing has been dry fit also. I just need one more HD trip for a union fitting.
I am in the process of building my dsa 105 rimless. It measures 48x24x18. I just purchased the AI ext 48" mounting brackets and the 6" top extender bracket where the lights mount to. My question is is the 6 inch bracket enough or is the 12" what I need to center it. The bracket is mounted...
Delivery today, got some BRS netting to make my top and my ext brackets for the lights. I'm gonna place an order for 100# of the BRS reef saver rock and dry sand next. It's getting close to the tank getting wet real soon.
Update for today
My RS 200 arrived today, i just put a dry fit together with the skimmer, pump and sump with the hoses, I wanted to see placements and fit. Looks pretty good, I need to figure BioPellet reactor size and placement next. Next on the purchase list will be the brackets for the AI...

My buddy has been frequenting the Reef Shoppe, I haven't been there but the pictures he sends me of what he gets there are amazing the sps and fish are beautiful he has purchased and very reasonably priced.
