Ok I wached them when the lights go out down they go, the lights on up they go. I gess i got the ones that like the get out the water. :? 8O

adding to the question I got a small pack and they are cleaning
but about half of the Nerite Snails and Turbo Snails seem to hang out at the water line they move and it looks like they are eating
the rocks with brown alge are clean but there are still over half staying up at the water line ...
Do cleaner packs spawn or grow or do you have replace them every so often?
looking at some cleaner packs I have a new 75gal with just about 8 pounds of live rock starting to get some growth but looking at the cleaner pages, I know there is no way I need a pack for a 75gal as they sell them. So...
not to many good stores here is ether big box with no SW or small store with really bad looking SW(i've wached there SW tanks melt down more than once) and they will not sell/give sand and there rock is $$$ a pound cost me 30$ for 2 #'s of rock
I cant keep spending 15$ a pound for live rock...

I should have added that this is ~85-90gal tank with 50# of dead rock and 30# of sand and just wanted to add like 3-4 fish to get it started still going...
But I seem to remember someone, somewhere posting that could cycle a SW tank with mollies because they are brackish(sp) fish can you do this or not?

Are the sides of 55gal tanks tempered normally? Over the weekend I tried to drill the side of a year old Wal-Mart tank from there 55 kit got bout half way and it shattered 8O not glass braking (crack) but tempered braking (spider web). So am a little confused. :?: Was drilling the short sides...
