haha i bought one of those damned tap water filters..the refill cartridges were like 30 bucks a pop, and were used up in no time..its been sitting in my closet for years :}. I not rich myself, so I look at my trips to the FS as free exercise..

Isnt it called 'slime algae'? I had it bad years ago and like ya'll suggest i was peeling it off the rock by hand.

Seems to me that MH's have a crisper, brighter output..with more ripply effect and such, and look more like sunlight the vho's.

the mushrooms are nice, but they breed like roaches I swear, and they will takeover your tank( this takes awhile)..try to limit them to specific rocks..you can kill them by slicing them off( I have a scalpel just for this) or you can scrub them to death with a toothbrush :)

Well for one, you have hardy, easy to keep corals and a low fish load relative to tank size...40 pounds of rock can process that much waste easily. Do you not do water changes?

i have lots of those, they are some sort of polycheate, and they do get bigger and are quite attractive....i couldnt see the snail. I recently found a tiny one on a new rock that looked like a regular LAND snail, brown with and elongated conical shell..i couldnt get him without seriuosly...

holy crap..well now Im SURE my worms are bristleworms and not fireworms lol. Always before, my worms only came out at night, and as such didnt bother me much but now they like to hang out in the full light..their fuzzy lil heads pokin out all over GGRRR! Why might this be? I trap and trap but...

i have a bunch too, sometimes one will let go of the rock and float around looking like a tiny jellyfish..i like them.
