  7. Red Open Brain

Things have been quiet in here lately so I thought I would share a couple of pictures! This first one is the first decent picture I have been able to get of this brain.. This second pic, my daughter took last night while I was feeding it a piece of silverside... Debbie
  8. Bulldog Pleco

I would try feeding zucchini instead of the cucumber, leave the skin on, that's usually the first thing to get eaten. My large sailfin will also eat bananas, and orange segments. Just small pieces of the banana, it can mess up the tank pretty good. HTH. Debbie
  9. some FW nano pics ...

Beautiful tank vitz! I really like how you have the tiers. I've just started using the excel in my 46G planted tank. Is it really what it's all cracked up to be, as a good substitute for CO2? I really don't want to mess around with CO2 as I am only running about 2wpg, and think pumping CO2 in...
  10. COOOOLEST CORAL

Lawdawg: That's an elegance right? When we first got started the very first coral we bought was an elegance. Little did we know at the time the poor success rate of them. Needless to say ours didn't last long when you also consider our tank had only just finished the cycle. They are beautiful...
  11. Cleaning Glass

Our LFS had these cool razor blade attachments for the Mag-Floats. Once you get the blade adjustments set they work really good. I'm not sure who makes them though. We've also used a razor blade on the end of a dowel rod. For my smaller tanks (where I can reach with my short arms  ) a...
  12. A few shots from today.

Awesome pictures! I wish I could get shots of my fish so clear!
  13. Female Reefkeepers

It was hubby who got us into the hobby. We started with one 120G tank. It was considered 'his tank' I guess, although we both decided together what was going to go into it. He was in charge of the water changes and the initial set up, upgrades to lights etc. I have always done the research...
  14. Alternat food for sea hares?

I have one in my tank which I believe to be Dolabella auricularia. A wonderful cleaner, but we too ran into the problem of what do we feed it now? Someone else told me they feed their's the algae wafers like you feed to fresh water plecos. We tried it since we always have them on hand, and our...
