  1. Anybody using a Gemini powerhead?

Dan, I have three on my 225 gal. and I made wooden brackets that work with the brackets that came with the pumps. The Gemini bracket has notches in it which the pump aligns with and keeps it from turning during my wave cycles. Without it my pumps would gradually rotate  .
  2. Tenecor Owners

That's the exact size I bought from them 3 years ago. 72" wide x 30" front to back x 24" tall. Great size, if I have to say so myself :D
  3. Dumb plumbing question

The outside threads are for the "nut" that holds the bulkhead to the tank, only. IME those aren't standard pipe tap sizes so your probably SOOL on finding an adapter  If I understand you, the drain from the tank has a 1" threaded bulkhead and the returns back into the tank are 3/4"...

  6. Image hosting recommendation for our members

Leonard, I can't seem to get photos from my PBase gallery to attach. If I take the same URL and paste it to my browser it works fine, however, when I paste it here, no go. Here is an example: OK :) Seems I've found an issue, at least for me. When I copied the original URL from PBase the...

:( Been chasing T. gigas around for 3+ months now. Asked Barry at Clamsdirect and Jim Norris at Tanku many many times with no success. Jim shows a 6" in stock now but I can't get him to respond to any emails when I inquire about it  . Good luck.

  11. Flex PVC users

What JT said Although I did use the orange CPVC glue, just because it's a little thicker and stays in place better while you try to remember where you put the mating piece . I also used the purple primer. My flex PVC installation is one year old this month and I really like it. JT is...

So, the "perfect SPS tank" is now a tang tank? Take it easy with these fish. Vlamingi - Way, way too large. Purple - Ok, but don't mix with another Zebrasoma. Desjardini - Much too large even for my 225 gal. Powder Blue - Pretty low success rate in the hobby. Regal - Get tank raised if possible...
