I have had my tank up for about 2yrs now and have had no problems When I first set up the tank I had a berlin air lift skimmer but it was the biggest piece of !@$%^ so I have gone for about 18 months with nothing. I think my success is due to my cleanup crew, but who knows I hope it all works...

I have a 20L and I go skimmerless: 1 clown, 1 brittle star, 1 turbo snail, 2 hermit crabs, 1 rock crab that came on rock,A gold coral banded shrimp, 1 hairy arrow crab,1 cleaner shrimp, and a bubble tip anemome and I have had no trouble, :wink: good luck

I understand! I had a long tenticle in there for months I have the skimmer and everything neccary to keep one without killing him I just want something that my clown can warm up too

Well said mark! Its not just the fish that suffer the birds the lizards the snakes. Before you know it they are going to turn into a puppy mill spitting dogs and cats out like they are rabbits 8O P.s they have those too :wink:

I have florecents my tank is about two years old and I had a long tenticle but the clown wouldn't accept him so I got rid of him, I'm so what experienced. I mainly want a host for the clown. my lights are 50/50's
