Can someone tell me where to get a true t-5 ballast that will burn 2 80 w bulbs. I have read that ice cap and workhorse will overburn these bulbs. I am looking for a cheaper alternative to. Thanks! Frank M

thats exactly what the manufacture said. They said it is a common mistake and that they have run a unit without purging several times and tds still test 0 ........the final answer was that i shortened the life thanks for the help

AFTER I STARTED USING MY WATER I FOUND IN THE DIRECTIONS THAT I MUST PURGE UNIT WITH DI UNIT DISCONNECTED FAILURE TO DO SO WILL DAMAGE DI UNIT , I RAN IT FOR ABOUT 2HOURS WITH DI UNIT HOOKED UP. SHOULD I REPLACE DI UNIT OR HAVE I JUST SHORTENED THE LIFE SPAN.
