If you can feel the scratch with your fingernail don't bother, even if you managed to buff it out there would be visible distortions in the glass. Scratches are actually less noticeable when the tank is full rather than not, it might be an idea to fill it and see what you think. Otherwise if...

I like the rock, it makes for an unusual aquascape, I bet the fish will love all the nooks and crannies. Taking into account rocks introduced from frags though there's too much in there for my taste, also for clean looks I'd want to leave a gap big enough for a mag float all the way around...

looks 1000x better with the sand in, one of the nicest tanks i've seen. Only thing that would improve it is if it was in-wall :)

Looks like a nice start, how long has it been running? Some more rock would make it look a bit nicer I think. How long have you had the trigger? Most people would say it needs a bigger tank than a 29, they grow up to about 1ft long. You might also want to consider a skimmer in the long term...

Sounds like a good setup, post some pics when you get time! About the heater - it should be thermostatically controlled, as in you don't need to put it on a timer because it should automatically switch off when the temp gets above whatever you set it to.

bare in mind they are ideally supposed to have 10 gallons per frog to be comfortable. If you can stretch to anything bigger than 5 gallons for them both i'm sure they'd appreciate it. Also the biowheel in that 3 gallon you mentioned isn't in the hood, it's built into the filter which is placed...

This is probably a very long shot and please don't laugh but here goes.. :oops: I have 2 african clawed frogs, both happy for the moment in my 40L tank. The thing is, and I don't know how to put this any more delicately, they poo lots. If there was an olympic sport for pooing they'd win gold...
