WE are building our canopy this weekend and planning to go topless. If the evaporation rate increases too much we will put plexiglass where the glass was. We don't have any livestock that likes to jump from the tank....make sure you keep that in mind. HTH Good luck

We have a 105 with a built in overflow. Set up a sump under the overflow from the tank, pump to the refugium and use an overflow box to return to the sump to be skimmed and returned to the tank by a pump. Our overflow box does not lose it's prime...check how they work with your LFS...maybe...

Any sub shop in your area has plenty of clean buckets they would love to give you. Please don't go to Walmart for 5 gallon gas cans, use them and then return them....I swear I will never buy a gas can again without checking it for water!
