    In the LaMotte Nitrate test kit the Octa-Slide has readings of 0.25 to 10.0ppm. I read somewhere that this test kit is a low end scale reading.     Yes I do run Carbon, but for the life of me I will never understand why this skimmer is so touché. It really gets so frustrating not only to get it working ok but keeping down the Nitrates when it does not work
