I bought my RO/DI off of ebay. I also purchased a dual in-line TDS meter online so I can measure the TDS of both the water entering & exiting the RO/DI....very easy to use:

I have a 72g bow and I just use a Mag-float. A few passes over a patch of coralline will usually clean it off. I try to clean my glass every 2-3 days so that nothing gets a chance to get too out of hand. HTH
I've used this method to clean tanks before...works really well.
Do this outside or in a VERY well ventilated place. Fill your tank about 3/4 full of hot water. Pour in a gallon of muriatic acid. Fill the rest of the way with water. Drop in a power head and plug it in. Run for about 2-3 hours...
