    Hi there, A late reply but.... I have these too! They are small sand anemones from the genus Halcampa. Harmless and pretty cool to have around IMO. Check out my web-site if you want to see the pics of mine (look under 'Other Fauna' - Small sand anemones). :D Regards Lisa

    Thanks guys, My camera is a Fuji 6900Z, a bit of an old model now (since being superceeded by the S602) but it works for me. :D The shrimp shot was actually taken after lights out. I had to guess a bit on the focus but it didn't come out too bad all things considered. Regards Lisa

    Thanks for the welcome HD. Of the two I much prefer your first pic although there's possibly a little too much dead space to the right. Generally a shot is much better compositionally if the main subject is not centered. Btw Undergrad, that's one scary beetle 8O Here's another of my favs...
