If i may, i think the key to sharpening is in moderation.
Digital photos will definitely benefit from a little sharpening.
As it is, it would be a tad too soft.
But that's just my opinion :)
In photoshop you can actually do edge sharpening which lets u apply usm to just the edges/outlines...
dunno what is the exact color of this ric.
The mouth is purple for certain, the body is a mixture of grey, blue, purple.
orange ric with green mouth
This is a mixture of green, blue and grey.
reddish-brown zoos...
green zoos with pale blue center...
Nice star polyps!
Can imagine it waving in the current :)
Maybe should go for a longer exposure so that there will be motion blurness.
Could be quite artistic.
Like waving in the wind.
But that's just my opinion :)
Hi Ben,
Fantastic shots!
How i wish i could take fish shots as crisp and detailed as yours.
Care to share your camera setting for those shots ?
Thanks!
Wow Reefsoul,
Very nice closeup!
Details are there, colours are rich, exposure is spot-on, very little noise...
What camera are you using ?
Anyway, nice coral and the shot is fantastic !
:)
Sorry to hear about the problem you are having with your G3.
As a matter of fact, I have compared pics taken with G3 (my colleague has one) and my minolta.
The color and sharpness looks better on the pic from the G3.
If you want to have more of your pic to be in focus, maybe you can try to...
Thanks Mihai.
There is still a lot of room for improvement on the focus part.
I'm using manual pre-focus as my camera's auto-focus isn't fast enough.
A fast shutter speed would help.
Those posted are a few acceptable ones out of a few hundreds :)
I just keep shooting since there is no film...
