Those where a couple of my first shots taken with my new Digital Rebel. I took them in full automatic, let me see if I can look up the camera settings for you.
Love my 300D too, Ben. That is probably the best looking rusty angel I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot over the years). It looks almost like a hybrid with something else.
Were you shooting these with flash? If not, what kind of shutter speed & ISO were you running?

It's a nice camera. Very easy to use and learn. I was aiming for the new D70 but fell short about $300 hence the 300D is what I ended with. If I could have gotten the extra $300 I would have gone with the D70 but am still very happy with the canon. Much better and easier to use the the Nikon 8700 I bought before the 300D and ended up returning.
