I had a lot of brown aglae too. Try cutting your lights down for a week to 7 hours. I did that and in a week time I had no more algae along with alot of water changes. How is your skimmer working?
Can someone help me with this stuff. My Alkalinity is high. I would say over 6.25. My cal is 340.Ph is 8.1 If I just add the cal. buffer would that bring my alkalinity down or up. I know you should add the same amount. How can I bring my alkalinity down. I also did a water change too.
