  1. Neptune pH Meters (ORP) No Longer Available?

    We use full time PH meters on our reef tanks I find them essential if you are keeping corals.If you decide on the Meter alone, You can buy a plug in adapter for the PH meters It's worth it cuz I think its about $14.00 and you will easily go through that in batteries. Renae

    Our Blue Tang, Cherry head wrass and naso tang have been through 2 moves in 2years (Moved into bigger stores) They are hand fed and great fish... Renae
  3. VHO vs. MH Pros and Cons?

    MH are better IMO if you are going to keep SPS and Clams. If you are looking to keep Softies then your VHO's are fine. As far as looking cool...That is all such a personal preferance...It would be a expencive upgrade both in equip and electric bill if you don't intend to do the more light...

    Is the lighting at the LFS you are buying from the same as in your tank? You may either be under lighting or over lighting depending on the existing lighting of the LFS. Also how are your bulbs... do they need to be changed? I know you posted your Calcium but what about your Alk. and PH...

    WOW can't wait to see pics when it is all up! I hope since you are considering glass you are looking at "Starphire" Glass. We did a couple 200 gallon tanks in a home in Palm beach. They turned out beautiful I would highly recomend the Starphire Glass Tanks" Good Luck! Renae

    This is in a store but it is a good example of doing more then one tank in the wall side by side.I have thought about doing something in my home like this too so I could have a differant tanks run from the same system. I think it is thw 9th picture down the thread. I have to post the link...
