unless it was a really long time ago, as far as i can remember, all their rock was fiji rock, and the tank i got the rock from was only used for live rock. so there are no pacific species of these types?

my "fiji" live rock seems to have harbored atlantic species, namely a large ammount of sargassum sp. and an astrea snail. are there pacific varieties of these species, or did my lfs lie?

i dont agree with these big tank suggestions. i have a 10 gallon nano and i am very happy with it, and dont often think about a larger tank. and starting small, as long as you are already experienced with aquariums (i cant imagine where i would be in the reef hobby if i had not previosly tackled...

these tanks are nice and all, but i dislike the ultra clean look of them. they seem to lack the diversity of a european style reef, and the color of some of those corals is almost too much for me, as is the overcrowded look of that first tank and why has nobody commented about the strange...
