It's the bulb. :(

Someone refresh my memory, please. :? Don't new PCs take a will to light up? I just got new bulbs and the Actinic is only lit on one side while the Daylight hasn't flinched. I know the fixture's ok.

I'm using the Prizm on a 20 high 'shroom/polyp tank and it's done ok by me. (fwiw) :wink:

(Sorry, no image posting capability at this time) I had a long white strand (looks like a piece of angel hair pasta thrown against the wall) deposited on the front glass by a cerinth snail. Straightened out, it would probably exceed a foot in length. Am I correct in assuming that these are...

Mine tend to release this stuff after a heavy water change or if I move their rock(s). They have never seemed the worse, so don't worry about it unless it gets to be extremely excessive. :)

You really ought to hang the strip on the wall away from any possible contact with water. :wink:
