I think answer to any sucessful reef would be stability, I personnally also like to overskim my systems quicker you get nutrients out of system the better. I do run ULNS its the Fauna Marine version which is far less complicated than other zeo systems
I'll see what I can do problem is you can't get a straight on FTS as there is not enough room in front of tank

I have not had problems with them or red bugs myself I do have a lot of wrasses in tank. The pair of Adorned Wrasses are constantly working the bases of my SPS. The people who have had issues with AEFW's in UK it only seems to happen after treating tanks for red bugs
I feel LED will never replace halides as NO.1 lighting for certain types of reef tanks i.e. SPS dominated systems. I do think they can be used along side halides and i do like effect they can give to look of tank

Tank has been running nearly four years
Its 92"x32"x44" with Diamante Front glass was built on site by myself, Simon Garratt and good friend of ours Kevin Douglas.
It has a 8" weir in each back corner and is drilled with in base to run six closed loop...
