I had one. I now use only the pump for flow in my 10 gallon. Very difficult to adjust. Go with something bigger and you will get better results.

Add some live rock to the return chamber. You may also want to consider some filter media between the skimmer chamber and return chamber.

Dawn: I lost 3 fish this morning to Ich. Clown, Gramma and a Strawberry Grouper. The other 4 are very sick. Will proceed with the dip method tonight. kick Ich did not work for me. Very disappointed.

I bought the Remora Pro and the skimmer box. Bubbling and skimming away. The cup is adjustable and depending on where it is set, the consistency of the foam changes. Is dry or wet better?

Can you give me an overview of the maintenance required for such a skimmer. Is it as simple as emptying the cup when full and cleaning the enitire skimmer every few months with a vinegar solution?
