ID: Green Pile of Pellets?

I will post a picture later, but I discovered a small pile of green pellets next to one of my large turbo snails. They look like food pellets, light green in color, and they are in a pile. What are these? Snail droppings? I also found another pile of pellets under one of my rock overhangs on the other side of the tank and away from any snails.

It's droppings from something. Fish and snails both can have green pellet-like droppings. Hard to say unless you catch them in the act

I guess I should (carefully) syphon out the droppings.
