I just added a Square Anthias to my tank... so far ther are NO probs. acclimating him. He swims out in the pen without being bothered by any other fish. What are people feeding their Anthias? He won;t eat frozen brine, so I am feeding with live starting today... and I hope he weens off...

Hi there. I am new to SW tanks, and I have a question about my replacement MH bulbs. I just installed two new 175W MH bulbs to replace my old bulbs (which are working fine). Problem is, the new bulbs won't light. I now the sockets are hot b/c the old bulbs light right up. Wuz up wid dis?

Correction -- My lighting specs are actualy about 5.3 watts per gallon. Is this enough. So what other approaces should I take to reduce nitrates?

I have two 75W actinics and 2 175W MH's. Regarding my Nitrates, they were actually off the scale. hat;s why I took such drastic action. I cut them down by 70%, but they are still high. So today, I added de-Nitrate sachets..... will these work? Regarding the Leather, he opened up all day...

I assume it will find its own comfortable spot. My only real concern is that it looks like it's turning inside out, although everything else (e.g. color) seems fine. Or is this just my inexperience showing?

I have received conflicting info about Sebae placement. SOme have advised I place it high on rocks near lights and current, others have suggested soft-sediment placement. Any suggestions?

A Mower Blenny would be great! I actually LOVE them... I think Blennies are very cool-looking fish with an outgoing personality. They look a little cartoonish and can be goofy at times..... My first Mower was and remains my favorite fish... But I might be weird
