HAS anyone done any spectral or lumen output of the catalina metal halide bulbs both the mogul and HQI..... many people say their bulbs suck and arent worth it.....and quite frankly i am starting to believe them....while with their actual fixtures and and retrofits i could deal with...

yeah it is quite a much more for those sunlight ones....about 200-300 more for the sunlight brand....and I am thinking of starting with the easier corals than maybe putting some hard corals and clams.....maybe a few here in there....

well yeah iam trying to go for softies but, I do want to sort of boost my coraline algae growth....In which I do have to add some calcium and etc. since I dont have those elveated amounts found in most reef tanks......So basically I want to raise and maintin a stable enviorment.....of some sort...
