Thanks for the feedback,
I have been trying to figure out the humidity issue too. The room doesn't have any windows. I was considering adding a vent fan in the room that would be ducted outside, luckily, the room is in the corner of the house so 2 walls are outside walls. there is a washer and...
Thanks for the reply,
I can pick up a single 250w halide cheap enough so thats no problem. I thought about sticking with the 4' tanks, but with an 8' wall, it just seems tiny....lol
I was doing some more research (dreaming) and found a very nice 240 that would more than happiliy fill the space...
Hello Fellow reefs.Orgonites.....been down for a while but am slowly picking up pieces to get back into the game. I have spent the last week researching a few tank choices and trying to dig all my stuff out of storage and need some help sorting out a game plan.

Thrillya,
I'm going to set out from this discussion after this post because what You have is different from the way I have seen ATO's set up.
I believe your friends friend was using the RO/DI to top off evap water by using the ATO with a solinoid (SP?) what I think the pic shows is the black...
yes, the plug in the right side would go to a TDS (Total Disolved Solids) meter but i don't see the meter in the pic. The Box with the piece of Airline hose comming out of it is an Auto Top Off (ATO) Device that is pressure activated. The tube would be set into your tank and then rasied or...

Thanks for the reply!
I figured 1 x 20A circ and 1 dedicated chiller circ would do it but I figured I'd pull the Tim Taylor and add 1 more 20A line for more power....

Hi Lawdawg,
I had a break out of majano in my 29g and I'm not sure if that is what u have there or not. mine had far shorter tents than that pic and most i have seen r short. one things for sure though, keep a close eye on it for a little while, if it is majano you might get an unwelcomed...
My first tank was a 55g
I ran the gammit of lighting from vho to pc to MH and finally decided that the combination of 10k mh with vho 03's was a great look for my taste. the vho 03's add a great floresence and the shimmer from the 250's was sweet. Heat was a killer issue though. 2 MH bulbs and...
Thanks for the reply Louey....
U just got out of a 300 right?
I considered going that big but just can't seem to get the ambition level up to tackle that size. My upper limit has been about 180 for consideration. May still go that rout but a few upgrades to equipment i have stored would need...
