Hi everyone,

i've been reading a lot of posts on here, lots of good info. I recently setup my first saltwater tank a 28. I did a dsb and have 14lbs of live rock. I have a black clown and a few snails. Its been up and running for about 6 weeks now and everything is good.
A few questions:

1) My snails, not sure what they are but will the out grow there shells?

2) Can i add more live rock to my cycled tank with no miss hap?

3) At what point can i start adding corals?

Hi there,
1)snails grow their own shells, so they will not out grow them
2)yes but must be careful, one of the way would be to semi cycle(QT the rock) in a bucket with water from your tank water before you put them in your tank. It actually depends the ratio of new rock you are adding, sometimes you can directly add them without adverse effect.
