Hi all, just want to introduce myself..
i've been keeping FOWLR for awhile in my 110 gallons,
now i decided to get my hands wet with nano reef..
oh boy, what did i just get myself into?, it's surely ain't cheap :)
my nano is 24g, which i bought on sale from foster&smith.
put about 30 lbs of live rocks from florida. no skimmer ( do i need one? )
so far the residence only few corals and few small fishes i bought from some of the member here.
good experience and bad experience :(
but well.. lesson learned, you pay when you don't do any study on them.
so far i only got frog spawn ( my fav) some zoas, mushrooms, and GSP
any suggestion or advise is definitely welcome

PS: do i need to add another powerhead to my tank? it is currently using 290g/hr stock powerhead.

Welcome. I have a nano also ~14g you are right about it not being cheap. Almost need extra care for such a small water volume. Do you have an ATO. As far as the skimmer I have one but you could get away with just doing regular large water changes. I had an extra koralia nano in my tank but decided that the flow from the return was enough. I would be careful with the mushrooms and GSP as it grows quickly.

well, i was thinking if the mushrooms or GSP grow fast, maybe i can give it out, as i always gave out my caulerpa from my 110 gallons tank every few months.
right now maybe i should worry about my frog spawn as it is about 7-8" wide when it's almost fully open
